Yajurved Chapter 29 Mantra 25
Samiddho adya manusho durone devo devan yajasi jatavedah।
A ch vah mitramahas chikitvantvam dutah kavir asi prachetah।।25।।
Word-by-word Transliteration:
Samiddhah-adya-manushah-durone-devah-devan-yaj-asi-jata-vedah-a-ch-vah-mitramahah-chikitvan-tvam-dutah-kavir-asi-prachetah।
Translation: (Adya) Today meaning in the present time (durone) in the palace like body through misconduct (manusah) those engrossed in false worship (samiddhah) are consumed by the fire of unprescribed worship which is harmful and destructive. Such seekers lives are ruined by anti scriptural practices. Instead (devan) the gods (devah) God (jatavedah) the Complete Supreme God the Satpurush is the true (yaj) object of worship. (A) The compassionate one (mitramah) the true companion of the soul (chikitvan) the one who brings the correct knowledge meaning the true devotion (dutah) as a messenger (vah) carries and (ch) also (prachetah) imparts wisdom. (Tvam) You (Kavirdev meaning Kabir God) are Kabir (asi) Himself.
Meaning: When the devotee community is being led into arbitrary practices, abandoning the scriptural methods of worship, at that time, Kavirdev (Kabir God) reveals true spiritual knowledge.
