Rigveda 9.54.3 - God is seated above all Brahmands

अयं विश्वानि तिष्ठति पुनानो भुवनोपरि । सोमो देवो न सूर्यः ॥

Ayam vishvani tishthati punano bhuvanopari
Somo devo na suryah

Translation: (Ayam) This (SomH Dev) Immortal God, (PunaanH) purifying (Vishwani) everyone (Na) like (SuryaH) sun, (Tishthati) is seated (Bhoovnopari) on the top of all the brahmands.

Meaning: Just as the sun radiates light and heat to benefit all, the Immortal Supreme God—described in the Vedas—resides above all brahmands and sustains every being through His unseen power.

The Vedas further reveal that this Supreme God descends from the upper realm, meets virtuous souls, and gives them true spiritual knowledge through divine speech. He reveals the mantras of salvation, inspires devotion, and, like a poet, travels from place to place, guiding sincere seekers on the correct path of worship.
