Supreme God Kavir Dev imparts knowledge to righteous souls

Rigveda Mandal 9 Sukt 20 Mantra 1

Pra Kavir Dev Vitaye Avyah Varebhih Arshati Sahnaan Vishvaah Abhi Sprisdhah

Translation: (Pra) The one who is distinct from the giver of Vedic knowledge, (Kavirdev) that Kavirdev, who is Kabir God, grants (Varebhih) knowledge to the best souls, (Vitaye) to satisfy their thirst for the wealth of true knowledge. He is (Avyah) indestructible and the ultimate protector. He is (Sahnaan) extremely tolerant, and (Vishvaah) completely refutes all wicked individuals lacking true spiritual knowledge. (Spridhah) He engages in debates of spiritual discourse (Abhi) to completely defeat and silence them.

Special Notes:

  • (a) In traditional translations by Arya scholars, some words like "Pra" and "Varebhih" are often left untranslated, which prevents the true meaning of the Vedic verse from being fully understood.
  • (b) My (Sant Rampal Ji's) translation makes it clear that the Supreme God imparts knowledge to righteous souls (firm devotees), and His name is explicitly mentioned as "Kavirdev." We call Him Kabir Parmeshwar or Kabir God.
